MAN STEALS SHOES.

TWO MONTHS' IMPRISONMENT. Sentence of two months' imprisonment was imposed on Percy Walter Lovell, charged with (lie theft of a pair of shoes valued at lCs 6d, in the Police Court yesterday, before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M. The case against Leo. Joseph Lafferty, aged 31, Mho was jointly charged, was dismissed. A eonstablo gave evidence that he saw Lovell drop a shoe from his coat in Karangahape Road. Lovell admitted taking tho shoes from outside a shop.
