ZENANA MISSION.
SERVICE IN INDIA. At the annual meeting of the Zenana Bible and Medical Mission Mr. R. L. Stewart, who presided, referred to the interdenominational character of the mission, which this year celebrated its 80th anniversary. It was the oldest women's mission operating in India, he said. Miss D. J. Dannefaerd, the honorary secretary for the New Zealand executive, in presenting the annual report; stated that in New Zealand there were now committees in seven centres and a local representative in 11 other towns. Mr. 0. S. Wiles, the honorary treasurer, in reading the balance-sheet for the year, stated that considering the present, depression he considered it to be 5 very satisfactory one. Stimpson gave an inspirational address on mission work and the social conditions of thte women particularly.
