AUTUMN FLOWER SHOWS.
EXHIBITS AT TE AWAMUTU. [from our own correspondent.] TE AWAMUTU, Thursday. Championships in the dahlia sections at tho To Awamutu Horticultural Society's Autumn Show wero won by Mrs. J. O'Sullivan and Mr. T. F. Richai'ds (Cambridge). In tho contest between districts for the Blundell Shield, for the best district display of cut flowers, Paterangi won the trophy with 94 points, Kihikihi being second with 90 points. Tho first announcement gave Tokanui second place with 74 points. Over 200 chrysanthemum blooms wero staged and the quality was excellent. FIXTURE AT TE AROHA. CHRYSANTHEMUMS AND DAHLIAS. [from our own cor respondent.] TE AROHA, Thursday. St. Mark's annual chrysanthemum show took place in tho parish hall to-day. The many exhibits wore well up to the standard of other years. The chrysanthemum blooms, in spite of tho recent inclement weather, were of an excellent type. The cut flowers section was well supported and a bright display was made in the dahlia classes. The decorated table classos, always popular, provided some striking effects. b
