BURMESE REBELS.
TWO TO BE EXECUTED. OTHERS SEVERELY SENTENCED. CALCUTTA, April 19. Two Burmese were condemned to death by a special tribunal at Prome to-day for taking part in the recent rebellion. Forty others were sentenced to transportation for life and two to five years' imprisonment with hard labour each. Isolated gangs of rebels continue to terrorise the villagers in several districts in Burma.
