OTTAWA CONFERENCE.
GREAT FORCE FOR GOOD.EMPIRE CURRENCY QUESTION. (Received April 20. 5.5 p.m.) TORONTO, April 10. The Canadian High Commissioner in London, Mr. G. 11. Ferguson, who is visiting Toronto, addressed Ihe Empire Club to-day. He said the Ottawa Economic Conference would bo the greatest force for good the world had ever known.
Britain had done everything possible fo promote inter Empire trade. The British pound never again would be at 4.866 dollars, but par would be 4 dollars throughout the Empire.
