WEEK-END WEATHER.
CONDITIONS IN THE SOUTH. Auckland.—There was ;i continuation of fine weather during the week-end. Except for cool conditions caused by the Tight southerly wind, ideal summer weather prevailed. There was very little movement of the barometer, and the reading last night was 30.35 in.' Wellington.—l'erfect weather was en* joyed during the week-end. On Saturday there was a light southerlywiml, which yesterday changed to the north.
Christchureh.—Tho weather oil Saturday was brilliantly fine, with a ccio ' north-east breeze. Yesterday morning the sky was overcast with ,i keen southwest wind. -About mid-day tho clouds dispersed, but Inter they gathered aga.n and the remainder of the. day wan dull. The barometer was steady at 30.50 m. Dunedin. —Tho weather was fine ,: ' n Saturday, with a light north-east bree-e and the barometer was very high. T3io night was cold, but the weather again fine yesterday morning. Hie meter dropped slightly, and during afternoon the sky became clouded. T&* | barometer registered 30.45 in. in the eve#* 1 »ng.
