MAORI GIRLS' SCHOOL.
METHODIST AT HOME. Tho Ku rah una Methodist Maori Girls' School, conducted under tho auspices of (ho Methodist Women's Missionary Union, held an At Home on Saturday afternoon to celebrate its first anniversary. The guests were given a Maori welcome on their arrival by the girls. Miss S. A. Soinmerville, president of tho controlling committee, was in charge. The Kov. E. IJ. Patchett. chairman of the Auckland district, congratulated those who had helped to establish tho homo on I heir success. He introduced tho Rev. E. S. Darkness, who is entering his new ministry at Onehunga, as the home's new pastor, and Sister Netta Gittos as the new matron. The students recited in unison the 100 th Psalm and gave various other items including poi dancing. The school is housed in a building constructed 2b years ago during the ministry of the lato Rev. W. Slade on his return from the mission station. It is built in the style of a large mission bungalow and with fine trees and palms surrounding it, forms an ideal home. Students pay a small fee each year, the remainder of the cost being supplied by voluntary contributions arranged by the union.;
