PRIVY COUNCIL CASE.
COUNSEL'S LONG ADDRESS.
FINAL DAY MAY BE TUESDAY. (Received April 15. 5-5 p.m ) LONDON. April 14. The New South Wales Government's appeal to the Privy Council in regard to the Upper House Abolition Bill was resumed to-day.
Counsel for the appellants, Sir Richard Cripps, K.C., had not, finished his address after being on his feet altogether nine hours.
TliO case is expected to conclude on Tuesday. Sir Richard will finish to-mor-row. Mr. Wilfred Greene, K.C., and possibly Mr. D. Maughan, K.C., (for the respondents) will speak on Saturday, and the British and Australian AttorneyGeneral, Sir Thomas Inskip, and Mr. J. G. Latham, on Monday and Tuesday.
