The Cycling Council of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association decided I his evening that it could not accede to the suggestion of the Canterbury Cycling Committee that F. J. Grose, New Zealand amateur cycling champion, should be given precedence over Miss T. Kench, of Wellington, who was chosen in athletics for the 100 metres in the New Zealand Olympic team, and unanimously agreed to proceed with the trials at Wnngamii on April 29 as already decided.
