A total of 45,799 unemployed, an increase of 416 over the previous week's total of 45,383, is shown by the returns oi unemployed registrations for the week ended April 4. Ihe total includes 33,333 men employed for part timo under the No. 5 scheme, leaving 12,466 unplaced or standing down.
