INSURANCE AGAINST RAIN.

POLICY FOR AIR PAGEANT. COVER IN CASE OF LOSS. As an insurance against rain diminishing patronage at the air pageant at Alexandra Park to-day a policy has been taken out by the Auckland Aero Club as cover in case of financial loss. The terms provide that in the event of one-tenth of an inch of rain falling between 11.50 a.m. and 2.30 p.m., the insurance company shall pay the club £IOO, the premium being £l2. Ihe paities to the contract have agreed that the rainfall, if any, shall be measured by the official Government recorder, Mr. S. M. \allop. A rain gauge has been installed at Alexandra- Park for the purpose.
