The engagement is announced between Dorothy Talbot, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Bailey, Valley Road, Mount Eden, and William Robert, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. James Dobbs, Hukerenui, North Auckland.
Two engagements of New Zealand interest arc announced, writes our London correspondent on February 25. One is between Miss Susan Fergusson, daughter of Admiral Sir James and Lady Fergusson, of Woodend, Chichester, and Commander G. F. L. Marx, R.N., son of Admiral J. L. Marx and the la(e Mrs. Marx, of Claiford Lodge, Aridover. The oilier is between Mr. Frederick W. G. White, of Wellington, and Miss Elizabeth Cooper, M.8., 8.5., youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. 11. S. Cooper, 89, Ridgmount Gardens, London, W.C.I.
