CONVICT'S SUICIDE.

FOUND HANGED !N CELL. When warders at the Stewart Creek Penal Settlement at Townsville, Queensland, early one morning recently, opened the door of a cell i;hey found the body of Peter Nikisoroff hanging'against the door. Nikisoroff, at Cairns on October 13, 1928. was sentenced to imprisonment for life for a murder committed at Babinda. Using his shirt as a rope, Nikisoroff tied portion of it aiound his neck, secured the other end to the gudgeon of the door and strangled himself.
