REUNION OF OLD BOYS. ANNUAL GATHERING HELD. [FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT•] "WANCiANUI, Thursday. The annual reunion of old boys of Wanganui Collegiate School was attended by old boys from all parts of New Zealand., Perfect weather was experienced throughout the holidays, and the usual sports between school and old bovs wera held.

On Easter Saturday the sports com< menced with a cricket match, and with tennis matches. On Sunday a number of visaing old boys attended the special cha.pel service, and in the evening they; we;;a entertained by the president of.tha association, Mr. W. T. Stewart. Sports on Monday mornfng commenced with the running of a relay between school and old boys, which was won by school. Later, a swimming rtilay race in the school baths was. won by school by six yards. The old boys' race for the Empson Cup was woa by A. Bullock-Douglas, the North Island Rugby representative. In the afternoon a Rugby match between school and old boys was played, and was won by old boys by, 22 points to 3. In the evening the annual olci boys' ball was held in Big School. On Monday morning the annual general meeting of the Wanganui Collegiate School Old Boys' Association was held. One of tho principal items discussed was tha question of a scheme for the raising ot funds for tho celebration of the centenary, of the school, which will take place ia 1952, and it; was decided to appoint » select committee to confer with the new; Zealand branches. Later, the annual din, ner was held.
