Arrangements had been marie for a big batch of relief workers to go to tho Waimakariri River Trust's works this morning, but only two came forward at I lie trust's offico in Christchurch, where several hundred rneu had gathered. There was much booing and hooting as a bus drove away with tho two men in it, but a party of 50 police prevented disorder. It is reported that nimtlicr 25 men went to (lie camp at McLean's Island by other means.
