GOLF INNOVATION.
MOVING PICTURES OF SHOTS. Due to the efforts of their club captain. several members of the Eastern Golf (,'lub, Victoria, have had " movies '' taken of their golf shots. With his own picture-taking outfit, the captain "shot" most of the leading Eastern players, and, hiring reels of Hobby Jones and Walter Hagen, invited nearly 200 to a picture night. Side by side with the slower motion recordings of Jones and Hagen, the efforts of some of the, locals provided a comedy touch that brightened proceedings considerably. Nevertheless the show had its instructive side. It has instituted a new move in that the pennant players are all t.o be photographed, by means of which it is hoped, with the aid of the professional, to provide real benefit to the players individually and the team as a whole.
