HOCKEY.
PAPATOETOE CLUB'S SEASON. A successful season waa recorded in the report anrl balance-sheet presented at the annual meeting of the Papatoetoe Hockey Club. The balance-sheet showed a credit balance of X2 5s 7d. The following officers were elected:— Patron Mr. \V. W. Massey. M.P.: president. i)r. A. Barrett Jameson; vice-presi-dents. Dr. .T. J. Valentine. Messrs. f B. H. Nolan. Docherty. B. McKenzie. _T. K. Snivtheman. McComb, A. G. (innter, r. Carr. F. M. "Waters. W. J. Nicholson. J. McFarland: honorary secretary. Mr. S. B. Knelling; honorary treasurer. Mr. H. b. Mellsop; delegate to the Auckland Hockey Association. .Mr. C. H. Lambert; committee, Messrs. W. Postlfiwaishi T!. Jenkins, \Y Kerr; sole selector. Mr. F. I». Carr. It was decided to enter second, fourth, third and fifth-erade teams in the Auckland competitions.
