GOLDEN WEDDING.
RESIDENTS OF HAMILTON, MR. AND MRS. J. W. WARREN. [FROM OUR. OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON, Tuesday. The golden wedding of Mr. John 'Willing Warren, a well-known Hamilton architect, and Mrs. Warren was celebrated to-dav. Mr. Warren married Miss Sophia Caroline Cattley, the only daughter of tliei late Mr. James Cattley, of Okato, at New Plymouth on March 29. 1832. Mr. Warren arrived in New Zealand some time before his marriage, the Armed Constabulary, being engaged in drilling recruits. He served with the forces for two years, and resigned upon his transfer to the Waikato. Mr. and Mrs. Warren went to Australia after their marriage and returned in 1889. Mr. Warren practised as an architect at Stratford and Hawera. Later he moved to Hamilton, and for 20 years vrai architect to the Waikato Hospital Board.
