DEBTS AND REPARATION. AID FOR DANUBIAN STATES. BRITAIN CALLS CONFERENCE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received March 27, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, March 20. The British Government lias invited the Primo Minister of France, M. Tardieu, and representatives of Germany and Italy to come to London early in April to discuss questions affecting tlie Danubian States. A message from Paris stales that tlie conference, tljo object of which is to devise methods'*of giving- economic aid to tlie five Danubian countries, is considered to be a certainty in official quarters here. M. Tardieu lias indicated that Franco will accept a scmi-oflicial British proposal advanced yesterday for such a conference. M. Tardieu said he expected to consult the British Prime Minister, Mr. MacDonakl. It is believed likely that Mr. Mac Donald and the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr. Nevillo Chamberlain, will ir.cet M. Tardieu and that they will discuss not only the Danubian question but also the proposed Reparations Conference at Lausanne. To day M. Tardieu promised the Senate definite news shortly of a Franco-British agreement on war debts. " The attitude of France is not changed," lie said. " We refuse to tolerate repudiation of debt signatures, but if. flio Lausanno Conference is to succeed it is necessary to take prompt action. Wo must first save the Central European States. " As spon as France and Britain reach an accord, Germany and Italy will join in a spirit of European construction.'-
