Vincent last evening : — The tropical disturbance is still located northward of Now Zealand, while barometric pressure remains high over the Dominion. Fair to fine weather is indicated in western and southern districts, with warm temperatures. Conditions arc expected to become cloudy to overcast in northern and oast coast, districts, with rain following, gradually extending southwards. Easterly to north-easterly winds, moderate to strong, freshening. Rough seas on the east coast, particularly northward from East Cape. The Government meteorologist reported last evening as follows:—The anti-cyclone mentioned yesterday is moving off' New Zealand. A fairly deep depression is located in the Tasman Sea, and is being followed by a rather intense anti-cyclone. Indications are for east to north winds, light to . moderate, but freshening and backing to south in southern districts after about 16 hours. Seas smooth to moderate. In the eastern Tasman Sea, moderate to strong north-east to northerly winds, and moderate, but rising, seas. The weather will bo fair and warm at first in most, places, but rain developing in the north and north-east and extending later to oilier districts. RAINFALL RECORD.
