SPORT OF GLIDING.

FLIGHTS AT WEEK-END

In spite of gusty weather a total of 22 flights was made yesterday by the following members of the. Auckland Gliding Club Messrs. H. G. Fointon, ft. M. Hare, F. B. Wallis, G. F. Russell, H. Mellsop and N. H. Larkin. Tho club's instructor, Mr. T. Philcox, made several successful test flights on a now locally-built glider. This machine is of unusual design and has a remarkably low total weight of 801b. Flying will be continued over the Easter holidays on Mr. Collins' property, west of Mnngere Mountain.
