BUILDING IN THE BOROUGH. [from our own correspondent.] TAURANGA, Saturday. Permits for the erection of buildings to the value of £18,812 were issued by the Tauranga Borough Council during the current financial year. These included £13,652 for 20 new houses and £llsO for new business premises. The tobacco crops in the Tauranga district are now being harvested. The total area in crop is over 100 acres and the leaf is stated to be exceptionally good.
