"NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH."
MRS. BARTLEY-BAXTER'S PLAYERS
James Montgomery's delightfully witty and amusing comedy of manners, " Nothing But The Truth," is to be presented in His Majesty's Theatre on April 9 by Mrs. Zoe Bartley-Baxter's Players in aid of the Auckland City Mission funds.
The cast is to include Miss Ysolindo McVeagh, Miss Mona Welbank, Mr. Dan Flood, Mr. Lees Bullot and several other leading Auckland amateurs. Sister Peggy Hovey will bo stage manager and business organiser.
The story of a wealthy business man's embarrassing efforts to tell nothing but the truth for a whole day in order to win a wager has always been immensely popular on the stage and the screen, and, excellently produced, as it promises to be, the Auckland presentation should be a great success.
