HUNTLY.

Th*e (lance and card evening held on Saturday evening in thn Parish Hall by the Huntly Women's Institute was a most successful function. Mr. J. Douglas was in charge of the card tables for the tiondancers. Delightful music was played hy Ihe Elite Orchestra. The winners of the novelty dances were: Monte Carlo, Miss M. Ilanley and Mr. Spoil's; spot dances. Mrs. J. Dodds and Mr. J. T.I it.; Miss Watters and Mr. L. Hogg. The card prizes were won as follows: Ladies, Mrs. G. Liddlo, 1; Mrs. ,1. Dodds, 2. Gentlemen, Mr. Spanish, 1; Mr. Brown, 2. Mr. N. Yates was in charge of the floor arrangements.
