MOTOR-CYCLISTS INJURED.
GIRL IN SERIOUS CONDITION.
A Maori girl, Kao Wado, aged 14. whoso parents reside at Pokcno, received severe injuries to the head through falling off Ihe pillion scat of a motor-cvclo at Onehunga on Monday evening. Tho girl is in the Auckland Hospital, and her condition last evening was reported to be serious.
A motor-cyclist, Dudley James Newman, aged 18, of 54, Torrance Street, Epsom, suffered a compound fracturo of the leg as the result of being thrown on to the ground when his machine collided with a motor-truck in Albert Street late yesterday afternoon. The youth was taken by the St. John ambulance to the hospital.
