CONTROL OF BLOWFLIES.

A report from Canberra &tati?s that a new lino of inquiry in connection with the blowfly problem has been opened by the Entomological Division of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research. This aims at the isolation of a " primary fly." Dr. R. J. Tillyard mentions that officers of tho division are engaged upon experiments 'which are promising. He adds that although good results have been achieved in the laboratory, it is too early to make any definite announcement.
