NEW ZEALANDERS AT HOME.
[from OUR. OWN CORRESPONDENT. 1 . LONDON,. Feb. 4 Major and Mrs. A. H. Bathurst are at present living at Broadstairs, on the Kentish coast. The health of their elder son, on whose account they left the Dominion, has greatly improved. At *l'® time of his illness ho was in Argentina, but ho came back to England last. March. When Major Bathurst left New Zealand last April ho hoped to be able to return and resume his staff appointments at Government House, but:, not being ablo to leave his son. ho resigned. His successor, Major R. W. Russell, is now on route to New Zealand. Mr. F. W. Doidgo (formerly of Auckland) has been ordered to bed for a period of complete rest. A few weeks aco, while in Edinburgh with Lord Beaverbrook, he became suddenly unwell, and medical opinion was sought. The. Rev. ,7. Treharne Phillips, lato Vicar of Otorohanga, has been nppointe to the curacy of the combined parishes of Padst-ow, Treveie .aaid Cove, on the north coast of Cornwall.
