ARRIVAL ON FRIDAY. A large quantity of overseas mail will reach Auckland from San Francisco by (lie Mat-son Lino steamer Sierra on Friday morning. Tho vessel has 874 bi-:gs of English and American mail for New Zealand, including 286 bags for Auckland. The Sierra left San Francisco on February 25, six days before the departure from Vancouver of (ho Royal Mail liner Niagara, which is due at Auckland nexl Monday and has on board only American mail for New Zealand.
