FALLEN IN THE WAR.
BRITISH PEERS AND SONS. PRINCE UNVEILS MEMORIAL. LONDON. March 10. The Prince of Wales in tho Royal Gallery of tho House of Lords to-day unveiled a memorial to members and their sons who fell in the Great W T ar. The memorial consists of two bronze figures on a, marble pedestal, typifying Youth offering his sword to tho country. Oak panels bear 243 inscribed names.
Tlio Archbishop of Canterbury and the Bishops of Exeter and Sheffield attended (ho ceremony. Tlio Chapel Royal choir, attired in scarlet and gold, sang, and tho Prince recited tlio services. Referring to those who had obeyed the call, .His Royal Highness said: "Oil every battlefield they sleep as they fell, with their faces to the east, looking toward the morning." Trumpeters from the Horse Guards sounded Iho Last Post.
