Tho Chancellor of tho Exchequer, Mr. Neville Chamberlain, stated in (ho House, of Commons that it was clearly against (ho national interest to hoard coins of the realm. Therefore he saw no reason to object to the sale of coins, provided that the law against melting down was not contravened.
