EAGERNESS OF INVESTORS. MANY MILLIONS TENDERED. (Received March 11, 11.45 p.m.) LONDON, March 10. As proof that investors are hungry for first-class issues the Evening Standard states that in the last fortnight a total of £196,250,000 has been tendered for five new issues aggregating £7,000,000. Tho City expects a demand for firstclass debentures directly tho giltedged boom eases.
