INFLUENCE OF EXCHANGE. QUOTATIONS FOR SILVER. LONDON, March 10. Foreign exchange moved slightly against the pound to-day, causing the price of gold to be fixed at i-5 12s 3d an ounce, compared with £5 10s 5d yeslerday. Silver is quoted at 17gd nn ounce spot and 18 l-.'i6d forward, compared with 18£ d and yesterday.
