FATHER'S INCREDIBLE CRUELTY A frantic girl rushed up and down the streets of Jassy, Ilumania recently, screaming with fenr at the passers-by. She was taken to the police station, where it was learned that she was the daughter of a villager who had kept her a prisoner from her birth, 12 years before, so that he could inhex - it the property of his wife, who died at the lime. The girl had never seen the outdoors, until that day whon her keeper forgot to close the door of her prison, and she crept out into the street and to the ordinary (hings of daily life, which drove her almost mad with bewilderment and fear.
