Wanted—some seeds to sow along life's pathway, Some seeds of love and happiness and light, That, they may light the dusty ways with beauty. Wanted—some seeds. Wanted—some seeds of gentle, loving kindness; Some sow in sorrow and then reap in pain; Send me some seeds before the summer's ended, They will be nurtured by the autumn rain. Wanted—some seeds. Wanted—some seeds to make my garden corner Bright, with sweet thoughts and flower? of every hue, Then shall I treasure every little blossom Knowing they came from hearts both good and true. Wanted—some seeds.
