DESERTION BY WIFE.

HUS3AND GRANTED DIVORCE. [from our own corresfondent.l HAMILTON, Friday. Desertion by his wife was the ground advanced by Layton Cornforth, of Hamilton, who sought a dissolution of his marriage to Hilda Mabel Cornforth, in the Supreme Court at Hamilton before Mr. Justice Smith to-day. Petitioner said ho wns married in 1925 and while living at Paeroa the following year his wife suddenly left him and had since refused to return. Their life together had been most unhappy. A decree nisi, to be made absolute in three months, was granted.
