RECORDS IN FRANCE. KAYE DON AND OTHERS. ' PARIS, March 3. Messrs. Don, G. E. T. Eyston, K. A. D. Eldridge and A, Denley, who were chosen by the Delago Company to attack the 24 md 48 hour:.' records, are driving at Mortlhery in rotation, and already have broken seven world's records. These include: 500 kilometres, averaging 189.577 kilometres an hour; 1000 kilometres, averaging 183.1500 kilometres an hour; 1000 miles, averaging 187.264 kilometres an hour; 2000 kilometres, averaging 186.816 kilometres an hour. Jn 12 hours the drivers covered 2163.455 kilometres at an average speed of 180.29 kilometres an hour. Two other international records were broken, including the 500 miles, which was covered at an average speed of 187.866 miles an hour. At Daytona on February 26 Sir Malcolm Campbell drove at 242.751 miles an hour for five miles, 247.941 miles an hour for five kilometres, and 238.669 for 10 kilometres. In the previous week Sir Malcolm established a world's land speed record of 253.968 miles an hour.
