GIFT TO BLIND INSTITUTE.

GRATITUDE OF VISITORS. A gift of £SO has been received by the trustees of the Jubilee Institute for the Blind from Mrs. Briscoe George, of liondou, and her two daughters, Veronica and Joan, recent visitors to the Dominion, who left for England on Tuesday. The gift- was mado through Mrs. Briscoe George's sifter, Mrs. W. B. Briscoe. In a covering letter, Mrs. Briscoe George said the money was a small way of expressing their gratitude for a wonderful holiday in New Zealand. At the donor's express wish the amount has been added to the fund being built up by the trustees to meet one of (he institute's most urgent needs, » home to which elderly blind persons, who can no longer work,, can retire in comfort.
