TWO SUBURBAN CASES. STOCK VALUED AT £4O. Thefts of footwear from shops at Mount Albert and Gnehunga were reported to the Auckland police yesterday, the value of the goods taken being estimated at more than £4O. A pane in a window at the back of the premises of Mr. J. McAlpine, New North Road, Mount Albert, was broken into on Wednesday night and boots and shoes to the value of about. £53 were taken. A window was forced open at the boot factory owned by Mr. A. G. Coldicutt, Queen Street. Onehunga, and boots and shoes valued at about £lO were removed.
