TAURANGA CELEBRATIONS. PICNIC AT MOUNT MAUNCANUI. [BY TELEGRAPH.- —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] TAURANGA, Thursday. Ihe borough jubilee celebrations were continued to-day, when a picnic to Mount Maunganui was held, launches convoying many excursionists. A very enjoyable clay was spent at the popular resort. The festivities will be continued this evening on the waterfront and in the main street. The jifbilee ball will be held to-morrow night and a race meeting on Saturday. The celebrations will conclude with the crowning of Miss Tauranga on Saturday evening.
