TRANSPORT CLUB.
FINANCIAL POSITION. Tha annual meeting of the Auckland Transport Club was held in t.he Kitchener Hall last evening. A good attendance of members was presided over by the president, Mr. F. E. do Guerrier. The secretary reported that sick pay amounted to £2994, which was £476 higher than in 1930. Payments to (factors amounted to £1662 and for medicine to £485. The benevolent fund account showed a reduction of £lB in the balance brought forward. The statement of assets and liabilities showed the financial balance to be £2651, a reduction of £470 in the assets of the club as compared with 1930. This is accounted for by a loss on tbu sonar fund and by the writing down of the plant account. Mr. H. H. Ward, senior vice-presi-dent, was installed as president, and Messrs. F. C.. Buddie and C. R. Gribble were reappointed auditors. A presentation was milde to the retiring president, Mr. de Guerrier, and medallions were presented to past officers and members of the committee.
