FINANCIAL DILEMMA. UNIONS' ECONOMY DRIVE. (Received February 28, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON. Feb. 27. Following upon a drastic economy drive by the trades unions the Labour Party finds itself faced with the alternative of cutting down the costs of administration, including the salaries of officials and experts, or the curtailment of its activities.
The latter course would involve the aban-» donment of many areas to the opponents of the party. i
