PLAY AT MIDDLEMORE. A four-bill bogey competition was plave.d by members of the Auckland Golf Club at Widdlemore on Saturday. 42 players taking part. The course was in excellent order considering the time of the year, and it should be at its best for the opening of the seasoi on March 10. Following were the best cards:—B. H. ilenzies and H. A. Joyce, fi up: H. W. Tidmarsh and H. W. Simmonds. R. O. Gardner and D. I'ebertson, R. D. Wright and H. Horton, 3 hp: A. M. Howden and A. I. Johns, C. M. Gordon and E. B. Brown, I. MacSw.in and L. W. Delpli. 2 up: R. G. and G. H. Abel, all square. AKARANA CLUB. A medal handicap was played by members of the Akarana Golf Club on Saturday afternoon, the result being as follows:—A. Wymess, 81. 9—72; B. G. Smith, 74. scr—--74; F. Hazeldcan. 79, 5—74; G. Coltman, P2, 7—75; J. Swanson, 81, 5 —76; R. Wilson, 94, 18—76; L. Harris, 91, 15—76; J. Budge, 87. 9—78; H. Halford. 89, 10—79; W. Swanson. 86. 7—79; H. Beauvais, 96, 16—80; W. Nicol. 96, 14—82. NORTH SHORE LADIES' CLUB. The final round of the Summer Cup competition will be played by members of the North Shore Ladies' Golf Club to-morrow. The final round of the summer competition for C grade players will be played on Thursday. Players may choose partners for both events. THE PUKEKOHE CLUB. [from our own correspondent.] PUKEKOHE, Saturday. The eclectic handicap over five rounds played during the summer months by members of the Pukckohe Golf Club has been won by E. Maddison, with a net score of 62.
