GOLF.
FORMATION OF NEW CLUB. PROPERTY TO BE ACQUIRED. A well-attended meeting of the members of the Everslie, and Mamirewa Golf Clubs was held at Mamirewa last evening, when a decision was reached to amalgamate and form a new club, which is now named the Manukau Golf Club. It, was decided to acquire a property of approximately 90 acres on the Great South Road al Mahia, just south of Mamirewa. The course is to be an 18-holo one. The following officers were elected:—Patron. Mr. Balfour M. Irvine; president, Mr. O. V. Adlum; vice-presidents. Messrs. P. J. Parker and H. R. Maxwell; secretary and treasurer, Mr. G. F. McDonald; committee. Messrs. D. A. Bingley, T. J. Fleming, R.'N. Johnson, F. Parker, A. Woolley; auditor, Mr. J. B. Gilmore; club captain, Mr. C. E. Wardell; vice-captain, Mr. F. 11. Barnard.
