NORTH ISLAND UNION
MEETING AT THE CHATEAU.

The delegates to attend the half-yearly meeting of the North Island Motor Union to-morrow have assembled at the Chateau. Among the matters to be discussed are the provision of main highway funds, the petrol tax, freight rates across Cook Strait and motor legislation. The delegates are:—Auckland: Messrs. CI. W. Hutchison and A. Grayson. Wellington: Messrs. W. A. O'Callaghan, E. A. Batt, A. Warburton and L. A. Edwards. Hawke's Bay: Messrs. J. H. Edmundson and A. Chadwick. Wairarapa: Messrs. R. W. Roydhouse and N. C. Shepherd. Wanganui: Messrs. A. Burgess, F. J. Hill and A. Rankin. Taranaki: Messrs. V. Duff, F. Amoore and F. H. Blundell. Manawatu: Messrs. N. Mackay arid J. Edmunds. Mr. F. W. Freeman is representing thf South Island Motor Union.
