Cup Race, for cup presented by R. D. Black, 6 laps.—Final: Jennings, 1; Smith, 2. Won by l! yards. Relay Race.—Jephson and mate, 1; Ij. Clarke and mate. 2. Speedway Handicap 6 laps.—Final: F. Snell, i; H. Mercer, 2. ROAD RACE CHAMPIONSHIP. REQUEST FOR INFORMATION.

Walter, staled that n report had been published to the effect that the Taranaki Centre had been granted the Australasian road championship. Tie considered that, if the report was correct it was unfair to Canterbuiy, as the North Canterbury Centre conducted the most important race in the Dominion. Ac a member of the executive of the. New Zealand Union and alno as a member of the New Zealand Cycling Roard of Control, ho bad not been consulted regarding the allotting of the title. Mr. AVnlter elated that the Board of Control was a useless body, as it had no rules. The secretary was instructed .to write to the New Zealand Union requesting information ns to which body had granted the championship to Taranaki.
