LONDON TALLOW SALES. LONDON, Feb. 17. At. the London tallow sales to-dav 405 casks were. offered and 126 were sold at an advance of Is. Quotations are: Mutton, fine, 26s a. cwt.; medium, 22s 6d; beef, fine, 26s 6d; medium, 225. The Bank of New Zealand has received the following advice from its London office fin ted February 17:—Tallow: There is a fair demand. Current quotations are:—Good mutton, 24s 6d a cwt.; pood beef and mixed, 25s 6d; gut, 19s to 21s 6d.
