Local millers sought its use for pastry flour. They were hoping to replace with the Australian product the soft wheat imported from the United States, until the Canadian Government imposed a 42 cents duty. The millers propose to urge the Government to clarify the grain certificate situation so as to admit Australian wheat. Major L. A. Andrews, formerly representative of the Canadian lumber industry in Australia, is urging Canadians to help Australia to work out the problem of citrus fruits.
