FEWER DIVORCES.
CASES TO BE HEARD TO-DAY. FORTY UNDEFENDED SUITS. Two judges will be engaged at the Supreme Court to-day hearing undefended divorce petitions. Forty cases have been set down for their attention. The list is considerably smaller than usual, the number on' previous occasions ranging from 60 to 90. Mutual separation and <2esqr ; tion are'among the commonest grounds on .which divorce is sought and there gre also many" cases of unfaithfulness and failure .to comply with an order for restitution of conjugal rights.
