Mr. E. L. Hendry, of Wellington, is at the Grand Hotel. Mr, John Montgomery, of Christchurch, is at t.he Grand Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. T. J. McKee, of Owhango, are at the Star Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. B. R. Webster, of Wellington, are at the Station Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Murdoch, of Hawera, are at the Royal Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Broadbent, 0 f Sydney, are at the Hotel Cargen. Mr. D. Rose and Mr. W. A. Murdoch, of Wellington, are at the Station Hotel. Mr. B. F. Spiers, of Christchurch, and Mr. D. Cameron, of Hawera, are at the Royal Hotel. Captain Montague Polley and Mrs. Polley, of Parnell, left for Wellington last evening. Lord Wemyss is a passenger on the Rangitiki, which is due from England at Wellington to-night. Mr. A, G. Mclndoe and Mr. A. Matthewson, of Dundee, Scotland, and Mr. E. E. Jolly, of Adelaide, are at. the Hotol Cargen. Mr. D. Finn-Stewart and Mr. L. Cook, of Sydney, Mr. J. H. Forde, of Wellington, and Mr. L. Farrow, of Napier, are at the Star Hotel. Captain Sinclair Thomson, the newlyappointed second naval member of the Naval Board, will arrive in Wellington to-night by the Rangitiki from England. Sir William Ellis, a noted English engineer, is among the passengers on the Rangit'ki, which is due at Wellington from England to-night. He is accompanied by Lady Ellis. >»i Mr. G. Howes, of London, Mr. C. M. Jones and Mr. V. Petersen, of Sydney, Mr. C. K. Anderson, of Rotorua. and Mr. H. L. Williamson, of Wairoa, are at the Central Hotel. Mr. Isao Hashimoto, of Tokio. who is investigating the possibilities of increased trade between New Zealand and Japan, left .Auckland last evening for Welling- ! ton. He will return to Auckland in a I few days and will leave at the beginning of next month for Japan.
