SUCCESSFUL FIXTURE:. DISPLAY OF HORSES. LIST OF PRIZE-WINNERS. [FROM Ol'R OWN CORRESPONDENT.] OPOTIKI, Tuesday. The Opoliki Agricultural and Pastoral Show, which was postponed from Saturday on account of heavy rain, was-held on Monday, and was most successful from every point of view. The display of horses was above Jhe average, a record number of outside competitors being present. Cattle classes were fairly satisfactory, but entries of sheep were very poor. Mr. S. M. Jephson won all the prizes in the pig classes. Great interest was taken in the chopping events. The steer riding was exciting and drew a good entry. Home industriesl also provided keen interest.
